Good to know
A posture corrector is a reminder, not a treatment: it does not cure back pain or spinal deviations (scoliosis, kyphosis) and does not replace strengthening of the back muscles. Wear it for 20 to 30 minutes a day at first, then up to 1 to 2 hours; do not wear it while sleeping or all day long, and loosen it if you feel tingling in your arms. How does this posture corrector work?
The X-crossed straps gently draw your shoulders back and the waistband stabilises your torso. As soon as you slouch, the tension in the straps lets you know. It's a posture reminder: it helps you become aware of your position, it doesn't hold your back up for you.
Is it really invisible under a white shirt?
That's the whole point of the colour: worn over a thin, light-coloured T-shirt, it can't be seen under a shirt, blouse or white T-shirt, where a black corrector would show through. Under very tight, very thin clothing, the outline of the straps may be noticeable, as with any corrector.
How do I choose my size?
Measure your waist at navel level: M 55–66 cm, L 66–80 cm, XL 80–95 cm, XXL 95–110 cm. If you're between two sizes, take the larger one: the hook-and-loop fasteners let you tighten it.
How long should I wear it?
Start with 20 to 30 minutes a day, then gradually increase to 1 to 2 hours, preferably at the times when your posture is at its worst (screen work, driving). Do not wear it all day or while sleeping: your muscles need to keep working.
